Pretreatment of metal parts

Workpieces of metal are prepared for the painting process by means of the spray pretreatment or dip pretreatment depending on the process requirement and substrate.

The typical process steps are degreasing, activation, zinc-phosphating and various rinsing stages. In addition, other pretreatment processes such as pickling, nano-coating and conversion coating may be applied.
