Energy efficiency
During the planning of painting plants, we pay particular attention to keeping the energy consumption in the entire plant as low as possible. We achieve this through the consistent use of highly efficient motors, fans and pumps. Fans and pumps that work in different load states are generally designed with frequency converters.
In addition, by considering all economic aspects, we try to recover as much energy as possible from exhaust gas and exhaust air streams of the plant. As a result, in many cases, it is possible to use the waste heat of the painting plant at other areas on site, e.g. for hot water treatment.
Right in the quoting and planning phase, data can be provided on the energy consumption of the painting plant, and various plant concepts can be compared with one another with regard to the energy efficiency. In this context, we also draw your attention to the VDMA harmonisation sheet no. 24378 "Forecasting the energy consumption of painting plants".
