Rail Vehicles

Railroad wagons and other large parts are now painted with b+m fully automated robotic painting plants. Wagons are driven into the spray booth and are then completely painted by robot.

Large dimensions of the work pieces may require the addition of 7th or 8th axis which enormously extends the working envelope of the painting robot. The complete paint supply travels on the robot’s axis to minimise paint loss during colour change and cleaning.
